John & Jeanie Wicker opened the Comet in 1996 when they saw the need for a neighborhood bar in Dilworth with live music & fantastic food.
They sold to longtime employee, Tommy Noblett in 2008. He carried on the Wicker’s tradition of free live music, but also updated the menu, extended the patio, & renovated the interior.
15 years later, Tommy passed the torch to Cora Urso. Cora is excited to carry on the Comet’s legacy - to showcase live music, continue to put out great food, & to keep the Comet a local’s favorite - all while making her mark on this neighborhood hidden gem.
